Cafe 42 in New York City

The food is so good and there is so much variety. Veggies, fruits, meats, fish, pasta, salad, the list goes on and on. Their Asian dishes are great as well!!!

I was told by my wife today that a couple of her close co-workers went to pick-up a salad there today. They all and their company, a major international company, has been patronizing this establishment for years. But today, several of the Spanish speaking employees where talking to each other in spanish and called one of her co-workers the 'N-word' in spanish. As of today, they are now boycotting this place!

The food was tasty not too expensive for midtown manhattan

This is the best black Colombian coffee I have tried in Manhattan. Not just water. It is good!

One of the few restaurants in the area open on Mon 8th June covid20 (NY's phase one reopening plan).It's like a deli with no cats. A pub that doesn't play music (limited alcohol buying hours on Sat and Sun). A pharmacy but smaller. A food hall but posher. I think they stock a bit of everything. AND it's soooo clean. Quick friendly service. My to-go food tasted great and was very filling. Prices very reasonable as well. Note well, service was REALLY pleasant. I apprecilike and would definitely return if I'm in the area again. Thank you Essential Workers!The End.

We used to come here when it was the 42nd St cafe. Bit rough and ready then but our favourite place for breakfast. Major refurbishment and now called tabletime. Serious upgrade but still kept its character. Great food, reasonably priced. Great to be back

Very busy in the morning, but fast and friendly.

Two star for the simple fact that the service especially in the morning I can say 8/10 is always bad and they always seem in a rush. When you correct them they tend to get a attitude but they would have never messed up if they didn’t rush the orders and take there time. Besides that when the food is done correctly everything is good normally for the most part

My favorite salad place near GC. Fresh ingredients, unlimited veggies and a cup of soup for only $1 more. People are very nice as well

The closest Breakfast place to grand central station that is not a Tourist trap. Clean and quick service and reasonably priced. If you are close to grand central this is where you go to have breakfast!

Fresh and delicious food at the buffet, grill and salad station. They have great options for salads, ramen, stir fry and breakfast but if you’re in a hurry grab something from the buffet. It’s always busy during lunch time but the lines move quickly and efficiently.

A great place for breakfast. We were staying at the Grand Hyatt for several days and we had a quick breakfast every day. The great part was it had a few tables that we could sit and relax and plan our day. The food was great and it also had a salad bar with lots of fruit. I would highly recommend Tabletime.

Nice place to get lunch. There's a hot food bar and salad bar. There's a seating area on the second level. It's within a walking distance from Bryant Park and Grand Central Terminal.

Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, they have pretty much everything. Sunduboo (Korean spicy tofu) soup is very good. Buffet has very good selection and mix. Cashiers are friendly and super fast processing sales.

The best variety and bang for your buck for quality food in this area. Always fresh and surprisingly delicious!

Tabletime is my new go-to lunch place in the city. I was originally drawn to the place for its hot and cold buffet in the back, which has a better selection of cooked vegetables than most places in the area. I liked that I could get in and out very quickly - the staff is efficient.

The food is delicious, both from the buffet and the counter. Service is fast. There are a lot of options and seating space. One of my favorite breakfast and lunch spots!

You want hot food? You got it here! Salad selections from Cesar to kale. Fruit too! You want grilled chicken? It's here. They also have Asian hot food, from shrimp to sesame chicken. They also have udon and sandwiches behind the counter. The registers move fast when it's lunch time. They also have seating upstairs if you don't want to take it back to the office.

I come here for the salads and they’re always made with fresh ingredients and unlimited toppings. A small salad for $7.95 and a large for $8.95. There’s a new promotion too where you buy a salad and you can get a 12oz soup for $1. The Manhattan clam chowder was the best I’ve tried so far. I haven’t tried their other food sections but looks delicious

Love this place, service is fast and on point. Food options aplenty and everything is fresh and tasty. Love the hot bar earlier in the day, the cooks watch it like hawks and keep fresh stuff coming out. Reliable breakfast/lunch spot that's not as expensive as you'd expect for 5th Ave.

My go to spot for a quick breakfast or lunch. Amazing price for the quality and quantity of food, clean and fast service, overall has been my favourite place to go to everytime I'm in Central Manhattan.

They dont clean the grill between making food. That's disgusting. Odds are you'll get a little bit of something you didnt want in your eggs bc of their rush. The lines arent even long... but they have to rush for some reason... (Be super aware of meat ending up in your food from the grill especially if you dont eat meat.) And nonetheless they dont fully cook the food. Its gross. Stay away. You're in Manhattan. Theres plenty of other delis who wont rush you and actually cook your food to order on a clean grill. STAY AWAY!!!

Incredibly tasty fruits, nice fresh salads, and whatever else you want to eat, including pancakes and fried chicken. The chef was a little bit rude when I asked him a question though.

This was my go-to spot every day when I worked in the area! The food is always so good and they make it really fast. The only place in the area that actually has enough staff during rush hours. I recommend the Table Time Sandwich or the chicken ramen.

If you're looking for a nice place to wind down and charge your phone, this is the place. Very affordable and delicious iced coffee as well as a selection of European candy. The clerk was very friendly and helpful.
